Also marks the beginning of a new one.

It's hard to describe the myriad of emotions you can feel when at a journey's end like this one.

For me, it's been over a year of taking part in new experiences and metaphorically sharing them through a story. It's nostalgic, stressing, exhilarating, daunting, melancholic, and uplifting all at the same time.

To spend so much time in the shoes of a character, feeling what they feel, understanding their thoughts and actions is such a platonic and spiritual experience that when it's over, there's a feeling of emptiness left in you. Sometimes it feels as though you're living a second life, with actual people and real experiences. However, everything comes to an end eventually. It feels akin to saying 'goodbye' to a loved one whom you're not going to see in a long time.

As I see the end of this chapter in my life approaching, I am awash with these kinds of feelings.

The most inspiring part of all, though, is getting to finally share it all with you.

The story sits at 87,758 words as of this writing, which equals to about 310 pages. The final product will be at about 95k words minus revisions. The book isn't officially announced yet. But I'll give you the initials—A S R

You can read all about its opening chapter and find out the actual title if you haven't right here in my portfolio.
