Here I am, coping with the fact this journey is over. The last two years I've spent in the shoes of all these characters, getting to know them, understanding them. In some way, it's goodbye, and it hits so close to home.
The spiritual part is done. Now comes the mundane, and personally, the most dreaded part of writing a novel—the editing. The quintessential element that determines its true quality.
Writing a novel is actually a two-way endeavor, a dialogue between writer and reader so we can create the best product it can possibly be. It means, I'm interested in collaborating with beta readers.
If you're interested in helping out, subscribe to the blog and send me an email with the subject 'Beta reader'. You can also DM me on Instagram or Twitter.
Here are some basic facts about the book:
As is, the book sits at 93,587 words, minus revisions.
Which translates to roughly 327 pages.
The working title is A Sanguinary Rose.
This is a YA Urban/Paranormal Fantasy with some horror and romance aspects.
The target audience = M - F, ages 15 - 21.
This would count as a second draft. It took me roughly 13 months to write.
We don't talk about the first draft.

Even if you're not looking to beta read, but are still interested in this project, make sure to sign up to be the first to hear the news, for early previews of the novel, and exclusive giveaways when it's published.
