2018 has been a year filled with loss, personally. The kind that shakes you to the very core. It was that pain which made me withdraw from doing what I love doing most these past months: telling a story. It killed my motivation to keep going or to share my progress.

At the same time, it's been a year of growth, discoveries, and learning. In the end this pain became fuel for my resolve. I'm determined to see it through to completion and beyond, to make it the best it can possibly be.

This book, A Sanguinary Rose, has become a melting pot of all that makes me, me. It is a canvas where I've lain my psyche bare for all to see, spread meticulously word by word in its characters and dialogues, in its prose. I may be putting all my eggs in a single basket, but it's what I believe in.

Between working two jobs, learning German, editing and submitting A Sanguinary Rose to contests, the time I have left to share is little.

I've made a recovery, and there's much progress to share now.

For now, suffices to say, I've completed a first full round of all-out polish and re-writing, and now I'm working hard on a round 2.

More to come...
